Dhaka City Rp Server Rules & Regulation

Section 1: Community Standards & Conduct

  1. At Dhaka City Roleplay, we are proud to foster an inclusive, immersive, and mature RP environment. While our player base is largely 18+, we warmly welcome mature younger players who respect our guidelines. Discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated. ZERO Tolerance Offences: Certain behaviours will result in instant and irreversible bans.These include:
    1.1 Targeted harassment or personal attacks toward any community member.
    1.2 Any form of discrimination based on race, gender, religion, or sexual orientation. Hate speech, racial slurs, or sexually explicit roleplay (including rape RP) is strictly forbidden.
    1.3 Excessive profanity is prohibited. Mild in-character cursing that aligns with NPC language is acceptable, but offensive or vulgar language will result in penalties.
    1.4 Any threats—verbal, digital, or implied—against the community or individuals will be treated seriously and reported to authorities if necessary.
    1.5 The Staff Team reserves full authority to issue bans for disruptive behaviour, even if not explicitly covered in these rules.
    1.6 Roleplay varies by situation. Use common sense and remember this is an adult-entered server.
    1.7 Encouraging others to break server rules will lead to a permanent ban without appeal.
    1.8 Falsifying personal information during staff interviews or job applications (e.g., lying about age) is grounds for disqualification. However, we will never request sensitive details such as your real name, address, or financial data.
    1.9 Family-related abuse is strictly prohibited. This includes mentioning or insulting parents, siblings, grandparents, or any family members.”
 

Section 2: General Server Guidelines

Maintaining fairness, immersion, and integrity in every session To ensure a high-quality roleplay experience for all, these core rules apply to every player on Dhaka City Roleplay. Breaking them may result in penalties ranging from warnings to permanent bans.  Vehicle & Death Match Rules
2.1 – VDM (Vehicle Deathmatch) Using a vehicle to intentionally injure, kill, or disrupt another player is strictly forbidden. VDM includes ramming into players or their vehicles without a valid, realistic RP reason.  Exception: If you’re facing an immediate and active threat to your life (e.g., being shot at), using your vehicle to escape or defend yourself may be allowed — but must be justified IC.
2.2 – RDM (Random Deathmatch) Killing or severely injuring another player without a justified in-character reason or proper RP setup is not allowed. You must: Establish context and motivation. Provide realistic interaction or demands (e.g., during robberies). Avoid “quick timers” or one-liner countdowns — they break immersion and count as poor RP.
2.3 – Fear RP You are expected to realistically value your life. If someone has a weapon aimed at you, do not act as though you’re invincible. Disobeying orders without a plausible escape plan will be seen as Fail RP.  Game Mechanics & Integrity
2.4 – Game Modification Altering the server’s scripts, using cheats, or modding in any form (client-side or third-party tools) is forbidden. All violations result in an instant permanent ban.
2.5 – Bug & Glitch Exploits Knowingly exploiting in-game bugs or glitches is considered power gaming and is strictly prohibited. If you discover a bug, report it to staff immediately. Examples include: Repairing vehicles via “magic parking” or unintended methods. Using workarounds to transfer money between your own characters.
2.6 – Combat Logging Disconnecting mid-RP, especially to avoid consequences (e.g., death, arrest, robbery), is a serious offence. If you crash or lose connection, report it immediately in #game-crash and rejoin to resolve the RP. Our logs can verify genuine issues.
2.7 – Trolling & Non-RP Behaviour Any action meant solely to provoke, annoy, or derail RP is considered trolling. This includes: Repeatedly running around scenes, jumping off buildings, voice trolling, soundboards, or blocking players with vehicles. Using voice changers or soundboards without permission. Severity will dictate punishment — up to permanent bans. Server Economy & Player Conduct
2.8 – Real-LIFE Transactions Exchanging real money or items for in-game currency, items, or services is strictly forbidden and can lead to a permanent ban. Donations for server support are the only exception.
2.9 – Whitelist Interactions Abuse Do not harass or threaten members of whitelisted jobs (e.g., PD, EMS). Taking them hostage or sending targeted threats will be treated seriously. 2.10 – Ban Evasion Creating new accounts or using VPNs to bypass a ban is strictly prohibited. If caught, all linked accounts will be permanently banned.
2.11 – Advertising & Recruitment Advertising other servers, Discords, or unrelated products is not allowed — whether in-game, Discord, or OOC chat. First offence = ban.
2.12 – Character Separation Characters owned by the same player must remain completely separate. No item/money transfers, meta-connections, or shared knowledge — even via third-party middlemen.

2.13 – Reporting Issues If you encounter rule-breaking behavior, use the Report a Player form with evidence (e.g., video, screenshots). Do not take matters into your own hands in-game.
 

Section 3: Core Roleplay Conduct

Building immersive, high-quality stories together In Dhaka City Roleplay, every scene should feel authentic and character-driven. The following rules ensure that everyone upholds a consistent standard of realism, storytelling, and fairness.  
3.1 – No Major RP Events Near Server Restart Heists, high-stakes scenarios, or major criminal operations are not allowed within 30 minutes before or after a scheduled server restart. Unscheduled crashes are exempt, but if you proceed after a restart notice, staff may issue consequences.  
3.2 – Realistic Character Names Your in-game name must be believable and appropriate to the setting. No joke names, celebrity names, or obvious trolling. Staff may force a rename if necessary.
3.3 – No Crimes in Medical Zones Hospitals are safe spaces for medical RP. You may not commit criminal acts inside hospitals — unless a suspect is abusing the location to avoid RP. Example: If someone runs into a hospital mid-chase to escape, police may pursue.  
3.4 – Respect EMS Roleplay If EMS is available and on-duty, you are expected to involve them in medical scenarios. Only self-transport to hospitals if no EMS respond within 3 minutes.  
3.5 – ICU RP Standards If EMS places your character in ICU:

  • You must remain in ICU for a minimum of 4 hours, up to 24 hours depending on injury severity.,
  • You may not resume normal activity or criminal RP until cleared by a qualified EMS or staff member.,
  • Failing to follow ICU rules is considered Fail RP and may result in punishment.

 

3.6 – Illegal Activities Restrictions You may not:

  • Start oxy or cocaine missions.,
  • Access gun-running computers or restricted systems
  • Unless you’re a whitelisted gang member.

 

3.7 – Emergency Vehicle Theft Stealing police or EMS vehicles is only allowed through high-quality RP scenarios. Randomly holding up emergency personnel without story line buildup is not acceptable. (Management Permission needed For EMS Vehicle theft)
3.8 – Connection Crashes During RP If your game crashes or you lose connection during active RP:

  • Report the issue immediately via #game-crash.
  • Rejoin and return to your last known location to resume RP.,
  • Failure to do so may result in a combat logging penalty.

 

 3.9 – No Rule Talk During RP Bringing up server rules in character (e.g., “You’re breaking the rules” or “That’s not allowed”) breaks immersion and will result in a kick or ban. Use /report or Discord to address issues, not IC chat.

Section 4: Meta gaming,

Keeping roleplay pure, immersive, and realistic Meta gaming refers to using out-of-character (OOC) information to gain an advantage in-character (IC). This breaks immersion and ruins fair play — and is strictly prohibited.  
4.1 – No External Info During RP Any information obtained outside the RP world (Discord, streams, real-life chats) must not be used to influence in-game actions. Example: Knowing someone’s location from their live stream and using that to ambush them = ban-worthy.  
4.1.1 – Third-Party Communication Abuse You may not use Discord, Whats App, or any external voice/text app to coordinate actions during active RP. All communication must happen in-character via in-game phone or radio systems unless you’re in a staff-approved OOC situation.  
4.2 – ID Numbers Are OOC Player IDs are for administrative use only. You may not:

  • Identify someone by their ID in character.,
  • Use IDs as evidence in RP scenes. Doing so is considered meta gaming and is punishable.

4.3 – No Device Use After Confiscation If your character’s phone or radio is taken, you must not continue to use them. That includes:

  • Making calls,
  • Sending texts,
  • Accessing dispatch or map features

4.4 – Stream Sniping Watching someone’s stream to gain an IC advantage is a ban-worthy offence. This includes:

  • Following their location,
  • Learning their plans,
  • Acting on info only visible via their stream

Section 5: New Life Rule (NLR)

Respect the boundary between life and death in RP The New Life Rule exists to preserve realism and fairness after your character experiences death or a near-death state. When NLR is in effect, you must forget certain events and follow specific behavior protocols.  
5.1 – When NLR Begins NLR is triggered when your character:

  • Dies during a shootout or is critically injured.,
  • Respawns after being downed.,
  • Is airlifted to a hospital (non-EMS revive).

 

Once NLR applies, you:

  • Forget the last 15 minutes of RP events.,
  • Cannot return to the scene.,
  • Cannot act on any knowledge leading to your death.

 

5.2 – NLR Exceptions NLR does not apply if:

  • You were killed due to VDM or RDM.,
  • You’re merely downed and awaiting EMS (not respawned).,
  • You were disconnected due to crash and didn’t fully die or respawn.

 

5.3 – Revives by EMS If revived by EMS during a valid scenario:

  • You forget how you were injured or who harmed you.,
  • You must continue RP as a recovering patient.,
  • You may not retaliate or seek revenge after medical revival.,
  • You must play your injuries realistically (limping, needing aid, no instant combat).

 

 5.4 – Airlift/Respawn Memory Loss If you self-respawn or are airlifted:

  • You lose all memory of the event that led to your death.,
  • You cannot speak about it IC or share any related information.,
  • All interactions from that moment are voided.

 

5.5 – No Communication While Unconscious When your character is downed/unconscious:

  • You cannot use voice chat or in-game chat to communicate with others.,
  • You may not provide information to teammates, even via third-party platforms.,

Exception: You may RP weak or injured moaning for realism — but no clear speech or tactical intel.

Section 6: Criminal Roleplay

Crime must feel real — not random Criminal RP is a core pillar of Dhaka City Roleplay — but to preserve immersion and fairness, we expect high-quality execution, realistic planning, and balanced scenarios.  
6.1 – Hostage Situations

  • Taking a hostage requires proper setup and in-character motivation.,
  • You may not use friends or gang members as hostages.,
  • All hostage RP must include realistic threats, dialogue, and fear elements.

6.2 – No Phone-Based Demands You may not use a hostage’s phone to contact police or issue ransom/demands without a well-developed RP setup. Using phones for quick cash grabs (e.g., “give me 50K or they die”) is low-effort and not allowed.  
6.3 – Looting & Robbery Limits Random situation No looting Max 6 members are allowed There will be cool down of 1 hour between to random situation If a hostage is involved in a robbery, you:

  • May not loot them.,
  • Can only take items relevant to the RP (e.g., ID, phone, radio).,
  • Must always maintain realism — no “inventory dumping.”

6.4 – Interruption Protocol If you’re interrupted by police mid-crime, you must:

  • Surrender immediately — no time to stash, transfer, or bank your loot.,
  • Avoid “rage-quitting” or logging out. Crashes must be reported in #game-crash to avoid Combat Logging accusations.

6.5 – Don’t Fire Without RP Just because police activate lights/sirens does not justify opening fire. Shooting must follow RP buildup, verbal conflict, or a legitimate threat to life. Firing without reason = Random Deathmatch (RDM).

6.6 – Executions You may only execute a player if:

  • There is a strong RP story behind it.,
  • The execution is done with immersive and justified RP — not casually or for revenge.

 6.7 – Criminal Group Size Limits You may only have up to 4 players involved in any one criminal RP event. This applies to:

  • Robberies,
  • Hostage situations
  • Breaking this rule results in kicks or bans.  

Exceptions to 6.7:

  • Agreed Turf Wars (both parties must consent).,
  • Defending your own turf does not require limiting group size.,
  • Prison transport scenarios may involve up to 6 criminals.

 6.8 – No Camping Robbery Hot spots You may not camp or ambush players at:

  • Chop shops,
  • Diving areas,
  • Drug processing labs,
  • Gun missions,
  • Garbage jobs,

These must stay active RP zones, not farming grounds for easy kills.

6.9 – No Interference With Arrests You may not interfere, loot, or intervene when police are arresting another player. Doing so = Fail RP.  
6.10 – Zone Tax (Gang vs. Business RP)

  • Gangs can demand up to $10,000/week from businesses in their controlled zone.

Business owners can:

  • Pay,
  • Negotiate,
  • Team with rival gangs,
  • Take legal action via a lawyer and court RP,

Police will not interfere unless ordered by a judge. This promotes layered gang-> civilian–> legal RP.

Section 7: City Special Zones,

7.1 – Green Zone ( Garage , Apartments , Business , EMS etc)

  • No Fighting,
  • No triggering,
  • No Rob & No Taking Hostages

 

7.2 – Blue Zone (LOS SANTOS City Area ) If you start situation here

  • PD will initiate with Highest Authority (Class-3) (FIGHT),
  • PD may call maximum Backup unit (FIGHT),
  • No warnings will be given (FIGHT)

  1. No shoot or fight from out side of zone. ( It will consider as RDM ),
  2. No Drive-by inside of zone.,
  3. No VDM.,
  4. No pit or Vehicle hit.,
  5. You can’t rejoin after death.,
  6. No Member limit but need official role.

Rules Can be change any time.

Rule Reminder – POV From Today Therer Will Be Some Changes In POV & Everyone Needs To Accept It

  • Everyone Need To Have A Pov(Must) While In Situation With Gang/Police/Civilians,,
  • POV Must Be Uncut Nd Fresh ( No Edited Pov Will Be Accepted),,
  • Full Screen Share Is Must While Recording Your POV,,
  • For Low Configuration Pc User u Can Try Medal / Xbox Game recorder Or Other Recording App ( But Pov Is Mandatory For All ),,
  • Keep Your Pov For 48 Hours After That U Can Delete That,,
  • Failure To Provide POV When Asked By Gang Management Will Lead To A Serious Punishment/Ban,,
  • You Need To Record The Entire Situation From Starting To Finish,,
